ROOF

The roof of a home is a very vital and costly component to replace or repair. It is important to thoroughly understand the condition of a roof along with the adjoining components which strengthen its integrity and longevity. During our visual inspection of the roof of your home we focus on the complete examination of the entire roof, all vents, the condition of the materials, flashing, any penetrations, and conclude with an inspection of the gutters and downspouts. 

EXTERIOR

Our exterior inspection includes the checking the conditions of all walkways leading to the home, the exterior of all doors & windows looking for signs of weathering or water damage, checking the siding all the way around the home, inspecting the eaves, soffits, fascia, paint condition, trim, and components of the exterior of your home.

HVAC 

When perform our full inspection of you HVAC systems we check the functionality, of heating & cooling, we inspect the ducts, filters, any furnaces and all of the air conditioner units.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS 

Electrical systems can be tricky, and in some cases hazardous; when we inspect the electrical systems of a home, we keep this in mind, ensuring that we take photos and notate any potential safety hazards in wiring or other areas of the electrical framework. Our inspector will look meticulously at the interior & exterior electrical systems, checking all lighting, accessible outlets, GFI’s, grounding, breakers panels, and switches for proper functionality and the use of proper materials.

APPLIANCES

We check the age, condition, and functionality of all permanently installed appliances and fixtures to the home, to include: hot water heaters, tankless water heaters, thermostats, any ancillary wired in units, etc. 

INTERIOR

During our inspection we check all windows doors for proper operation and to ensure that they are properly sealed, we check around the windows and doors for any signs of water intrusion, we also look at the walls and ceilings notating and providing photos of any signs of water stains which could be an indication of water damage, and more.

SUB-LEVELS

The sub-levels of a home include the foundation, crawlspace, or basement, and there are very meticulous and particular ways that each of these areas should be inspected. We carefully look for signs of water seepage, cracks, or shifting in the walls of the basement or foundation.


ATTIC SPACE

We carefully examine the attic spaces within a home to check for proper ventilation, we also check that the attic is properly insulated, and that there are sufficient supports in place for the roof, while also looking for any interior signs of water entering the home through the roof.
